It doesn't get much easier: bus line 832 stops right outside GADÔ on Kriechere — and from there, you're comfortably connected in both directions. A hiking bus in summer, a ski bus in winter. Just hop on, ride, and arrive.
From May to October, the bus connects the Bezau cable car with the Mellaubahn — ideal if you want to hike one way and ride the other. The line runs every hour, making it easy to explore the valley without a car. In winter, the same bus heads straight to the Damüls-Mellau ski area — and if you have a ski pass, the ride is free.
If you're traveling with the Bregenzerwald Guest Card, there's nothing to think about: the bus ride is already included from three nights onward. Just show it when you board.
