Bezau is small enough to explore easily on foot, and that's exactly the appeal. Instead of heading straight for the nearest supermarket, take a slow walk through the village and you'll discover little shops, direct producers, and treats you won't find anywhere else. Cheese, straight from the alpine pastures. Honey, cake, sausage — things you know exactly where they came from.
In summer, it's also worth checking out the weekly market, held on the village square every Friday morning. Small and lovely.
